This Harley-Davidson lighter was commissioned by Zippo Manufacturing Company and produced by Barrett-Smythe Ltd., leading engravers and fine art designers
Jon Robyn, Art Director of the company, internationally acclaimed engraver and goldsmith was personally responsible for this design
Jon depicts the Bald Eagle mantling (shielding and protecting) the Harley-Davidson shield in typical bird of prey fashion. The flowing banners, piercing eyes and clutching talons deliver a message of strength, pride and endurance, all attributes of Harley-Davidson and Zippo Manufacturing
