Offering for your consideration is this highly
collectible Vintage Hall's Superior Quality Kitchenware Jewel 3 piece nesting mixing bowl set in the Autumn
Leaf Radiance Pattern
. Hall China is very desirable since it is a non-porous material that does not craze. The pieces were manufactured in Ohio from 1933 to 1976. My set was purchased from an estate sale and are believed to be a 1950's set. It is apparent they have had frequent use over the years since some paint is worn on the exterior especially the shiny gold mica accents. The interior is dark with mars created by using metal utensils and mixer beaters over the years and the large bowl has a nickel size area in the bottom center where the glaze is worn (see photo). I am told that many of these mars can be removed with Bar Keepers Friend and plenty of elbow grease but have not tried. There is also one chip on the bottom rim of the medium bowl (see photo). I actually bought them for display in a country glass front kitchen cabinet because I remembered them as a child so didn't mind the interior. The bowls measure as follows:
