Obtained from the Lionel/Liontech Archives. The ZW-D was designed to be a conventionally operated transformer and a TrainMaster Command Control unit in a single housing. The functions of a CAB-1 were located on the top of the transformer. When the "BOOST" button was depressed the outside handles of the transformer wouldmove via a motor located in the base as the voltage increased or decreased. A digital display was integrated into the panel so the operator could monitor the system functions. This is a nonfunctioning prototype. The ZW-D was never put into production by Lionel.
