Bill Walton had a storied career in professional basketball spanning over a decade. The elite center won many NBA awards during his career, including two NBA Championships. After a highly successful college basketball career with the UCLA Bruins that netted back-to-back NCAA championships, Walton was the number one draft pick in the 1974 NBA draft, starting his journey in the league with the Portland Trail Blazers franchise. Winning his first NBA title in 1979, Bill Walton cemented his place as one of the game's best big men. On the court he presented numerous problems for opposing teams, combining an incredible talent for snagging rebounds with a knack for setting up his teammates for success through great passing. Though his tenure with the San Diego Clippers was hindered by injury, Walton returned healthy to play out his final two seasons with the Boston Celtics, playing alongside Larry Bird to win a Sixth Man of the Year Award on their campaign to win an NBA Championship in 1986.
