To mark the Centennial Anniversary of the American Legion, the nation's largest veteran's organization, the U.S. Mint has issued a series of commemorative coins. This silver dollar coin of the series is a product of the Philadelphia Mint, struck from 0.8594 Troy oz. of .999 fine silver. The Mint has dedicated the amount of from the sale of each silver dollar to benefit the Legion's programs.
Stunningly Detailed Designs
The obverse design by Paul C. Balan and Renata Gordon features the emblem of the American Legion framed by symbols representing strength, devotion and memory: oak leaves and a lily. Inscribed "LIBERTY" and "IN GOD WE TRUST" above, with "2019" below.
A fleur-de-lis and the inscription "100 YEARS OF SERVICE" appear on the reverse, between crossed American and American Legion flags and an ornately decorated arch. Additional inscriptions include "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "1919," "2019," "E PLURIBUS UNUM," "P" and "." The design is credited to Patricia Lucas-Morris and Michael Gaudioso.

If the product has been altered, is not in its original coin capsule, or is otherwise in an unsaleable condition, the product will not be accepted for return or exchange. All documents and bonus items included with the product must also be returned. If the product is not returned with all original packaging and bonus items, is incomplete, or is returned after the 30-day return period, the Company reserves the right not to accept the return or to accept the return subject to a 20% restocking fee, in the Company's sole discretion. All returns with a purchase price over 0 must include a Return Authorization Number.
