Presented is a beautiful wood “cherry” stained, hinged presentation box (embossed with a gold imprint of the seal of the United States) that holds six encapsulated 1986-dated coins issued by the United States Mint to celebrate the 100th
anniversary of the Statue of Liberty, erected on Liberty Island (formerly known as Bedloe’s Island) in New York harbor in 1886.
The commemorative coins include the UNCIRCULATED and PROOF (West Point Mint) LIBERTY .00 GOLD HALF EAGLE [.900 Fine - 0.24 troy oz. gold] coins; the UNCIRCULATED (Philadelphia Mint) and PROOF (San Francisco Mint) LIBERTY SILVER DOLLAR [.900 Fine – 0.77 troy oz. silver] and the UNCIRCULATED (Denver Mint) and PROOF [San Francisco Mint] LIBERTY HALF DOLLAR [0.33 troy oz. copper], The presentation box, with the CoA, is place in a sturdy blue paper outer box that displays the gold imprint of the seal of the United States and the words UNITED STATES LIBERTY COINS in silver print.
