This 2018-S Silver Reverse Proof Set is a special U.S. Mint release, issued to celebrate the 50th year of proof coinage production at the San Francisco Mint.
All ten coins in the set feature a dramatic reverse proof finish.
Mintage is limited to 200,000 sets.
Included in the set are the Lincoln cent, Jefferson nickel, Roosevelt dime, Kennedy half dollar, and the 2018 Native American dollar featuring Olympic athlete Jim Thorpe.
The 2018 America the Beautiful quarters commemorating protected locations in Georgia, Michigan, Minnesota, Rhode Island, and Wisconsin complete the set.
The dime, five quarters, and half dollar are struck from a composition of 90% silver.
Each coin in the set caries the "S" Mint mark.
Each coin in this 2018-S U.S. Silver Reverse Proof Set has been determined to be in perfectly struck Proof 70 condition by Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC).
The ten reverse proof coins are presented in separate protective holders with blue NGC labels signed by John M. Mercanti, retired U.S. Mint Chief Engraver.
